Meikle Barfil is a family run holiday cottage. We have been open since July 2007 and have had excellent feedback from all of our guests.

Although the name of the cottage would suggest a farm location, it is no longer a working farm and so the only noise you may hear is the ducks and geese flying overhead towards our small loch. Visitors are welcome to use the farmland surrounding the cottage for walking during their stay if they wish.
Meikle Barfil has only two houses, the farmhouse/cottage and the steading, where we live. The two houses do not overlook one another and so the privacy of our guests is guarenteed. However, we are usually on hand to offer any information required or assist if necessary.
We are happy to accept one well-behaved pet by arrangement. There is no additional charge for this but we ask that visitors encourage their pet to respect our cottage. Pets must not have access to the bedrooms at any time.
